We finally had a male model. There are differences even though his shape lacked a lot of muscle definition. The shape of the hip, the large volume of the thigh, the roundness of the buttocks give this away as male, at least to me it does.

I didn’t take any photos of the drawings I did with the model either side or front on because I don’t think any of them worked very well. Neither did this one really, but it’s the best and the last of the batch.
I’ve become quite fond of pastels, the chalky kind. In this picture, again I ran out of time, I’ve used charcoal and pastels.
If I get to do any more drawing next year or in following years I will try watercolour. My cousin Sandra paints with those but she has never showed me any of her pictures. I’m very curious.
